About Abdur Razaq Bin Abtan Al Dulaimi

Sheikh Abdur Razaq Bin Abtan Al Dulaimi (Abd al-Razzaq ibn 'Abtan Sabbar al-Dulaimi), born on 5 April 1976 in the al-'Amil district, Iraq, is an Iraqi Quran reciter based in the United Arab Emirates, where he is imam of a mosque in the emirate of Sharjah. He is known for his mujawwad recitations, which combine the Iraqi and Egyptian styles.

He has recorded several complete versions of the Quran in the reading of Hafs 'an 'Asim: a careful murattal (muhaqqaq) recorded in Iraq; a mujawwad recorded in 2001, noted for the richness of his voice and for the way it blends the Baghdadi and Egyptian manners of recitation; and a complete murattal recorded in the Emirates. There is also a recitation of Hafs by way of the Tayyiba, with shortening (qasr) of the separated long vowels.
